Dear Brother Knight:
Preparations for the sale of Christmas Trees by the K of C Bishop Verot Council # 5845 are underway. As it was last year, the Christmas Tree lot will be located in Indialantic on A1A at 2nd Avenue. Mike MacKay is leading the preparations and plans to build the tree shelter at the lot on November 15th. at 9 a.m. The Balsams will be arriving from Maine and the Noble Firs from Oregon on November 29. We will need help to unload the trees on November 29. The Christmas Tree sales will begin on November 29. Don Winterich will develop the schedule for staffing the tree lot. He will be contacting you to request your help to work at the Tree Lot. The Tree Lot will be open for sales from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays and from 3:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. We ask our able bodied Knights to work one three hour shift each week that the lot is open or whatever your schedule and circumstances allows.
